Hi,
I'm new around here, so .. HI!
OK, I just accepted this position as web developer. I come from a destkop app background using vb6,vb.net, and c#. Did play around a while with asp.net and html, scripts, asp years ago.

Anycase, this company's website display in a english and japanese version.
I do not really understand this whole issue one apparantly have with working with data in japanese. Never did this before. But the way I see it, there are thousands of japanese web sites out there. There obviously are a simple normal way of working with this kind of text, and I just don't know about it.

Would one of you guys be so kind to give me a push into the right direction? Tutorials, articles, links..that kind of thing.

Hope to make some contribution here soon. :)

Thanks in Regards

Stranger

PS: not so sure if I posted under the rigth topic? Should I also post this in another forum section?

You posted in the right forum.

It should just be a simple case of using a different character set. In fact I think UTF-8 (or perhaps UTF-16) should work fine.
