I disagree. Everything depends on a purpose. For example, I am a big fan of 24.
I think their site http://www.fox.com/24/ should be in a flash, since it's an entertainment category, plus it reflects the layout of the show itself. However, something like an information portal or a reference site, indeed, would be very annoying if done in a flash.
Peppermint :) is good. Again, I believe that Flash is a great solution for the recording studios site. It would not achieve the same effect for the purpose if done in plain HTML.

....well I think flash is great for website that touches ...medias and such of stuff (real nce)... for the resst you can t do a website like I dont know AOL...buisness websites are I think better in html....( an intro is ok but not all the page... and always this loading ) :O)...
