Hopefully I have found the correct place to post this type of question, but...
Is there a way to get better message to appear for the user when the site is having issues? I would prefer my client to see something like a friendly reminder to please try back soon as opposed to the big PAGE CAN NOT BE FOUND error.
We don't have many errors, but when we do I'd like to make it as painless as possible.
Thanks!!

its part of your .htaccess (http://www.javascriptkit.com/howto/htaccess.shtml) file. the error pages (http://www.javascriptkit.com/howto/htaccess2.shtml).
If you are meaning what i think you are meaning.

I had no clue what .htaccess was so I clicked the link and it mentions apache...does it work the same with IIS??
I get the rest of the instructions though.
Thanks for getting me started!!

No it works different on windows servers. Im not sure but i think it has something to do with the inital full stop. Just google ".htaccess with windows" or something like that
