Having used the name "Xerxiam" I have belatedly realised that no-one on earth or surrounding planetary system was able to pronounce it  . So I've changed to "404i" - a tad simpler. This has meant having to rebrand my site.

Here's the old Xerxiam site: http://www.xerxiam.com
Here's the new one: http://www.404i.com

Somehow the arrangement of the design elements doesn't seem quite right so I'd appreciate some feedback.

It's not quite ready yet but I aiming to launch soon

Thanks

(BTW, it's pronounced "zerks-ee-am")

I like it. It's weird, but in a good way.

It does take a while for all the images to load -- not sure if it's the page or the server. It took a while for the xerxiam page to load, too.

Nice site! The site name reminds me of 404 error page. :)

One problem for the right vertical nav, when I clicked a link to go to another page for the first time, the whole nav shifted to the left a little bit for a while, and then went to back normal soon. There is no problem when I tried the second time.

It looks nice to me too. The only comment I have is that the color above each page (with the exception of the home page) doesn't exactly match the background color...other than that I dig it.

Your right, I've got round to correcting that just yet, but thanks for reminding me.

Thats partly why I chose the name: it's a number people are vaguely familiar with (prehaps for the wrong reasons  ). I had thought about the strap line "Page found" . Maybe the "i" stands for "internet".

looks good zing!
but are those pictures in the portfolio screenshots or actual SCREEN SHOTS?
meaning did you take pictures of your screen?

i'd not do that, the quality is pretty bad, looks fuzzy, etc..

They're actual photos of the screen. Seemed like a good idea at the time though I admit I'm having doubts.

hmm, yeah, the quality is pretty bad, it could give people a wrong impression about the quality of your work

Fixed it. Now just screen grabs. Improvement I think.

The moral of the story is do not get bored with a digital camera in your hand if you're anywhere near your pc. :p

The small text links are more an SEO thing - Google bots like 'em even if humans aren't so keen.

(Nice graphics on you site BTW)
