CDONTS Mail - Please HELP!!!!

I am trying to send a file attachment through CDONTS mail. I am able to attach the file and send it. But I would like to encrypt the file so that the contents are not hacked except the receiver. I am new to encrytpion and I would like to know if there are any good tutorials. Does asp provide encryption??

I am sending clients important financial information and i don't want the data to go into the wrong hands. So I need to do encryption. Can you suggest which other languages provide for encryption or atleast good security of data?
