What is the best tool/editor to use when implementing struts? Specifically we will be using struts for validation on data entry forms. Also I am new to struts so the most detailed/straight forward would be best.
We were going to purchase the plug-in available through dreamweaver but want to be sure i am buying the most useful tool for my money.

What IDE are you using? Are you using dreamweaver? I was not aware that Dreamweaver was a Java IDE.
If you are using Eclipse, there are several free struts plugins available for it.

I usually just use TextPad, but ran a search for struts plug-ins and dreamweaver was really the only thing that came up.
We have eclipse here but i have never used it personally. Would you mind posting up links to some useful plug-ins for eclipse? I tried googling it but had no luck.
thanks

Personally I use WebSphere Application Developer, which has a built in struts editor. So a lot of the below stuff I can't really say if it is good or not.
