Hello,

I am creating a personal portfolio. But before i start coding it in css i want to have everyone's opinion on it. So I made it in photoshop and export it as a jpg.

So here is the file to view it;

Stuff to look at: do the colors match, does the banner need something else in there, and more.

the banner is fine, but there are far too many different colors (that don't really fit together) where the content will be.
Also the font for "home" and the one on the navigation bar do not fit at all with the overall design.

Hi -
First off, I think the text looks out of proportion
to the rest of the layout - too chunky-looking.
Maybe L.C.Fuzzy meant a font that's sans-serif
and a bit simpler to fit the design - verdana? arial?

Yep, try something like tahoma, verdana, arial or trebuchet MS, etc..and choose the one you like most at first choice, but don't forget to choose other font families in case it's not available

Just a thought: try moving the "main navigation" up a little and extend the dividor line upwards. That way, both title's are on par. .....maybe make a little more use of dividers too.

Also, although I'm not one to talk, you might want to consider having less color deviation in your graphis as well, so it's faster to load.

I put the nav-bar on the left. Did you intentionally put the navigation bar on the right to get away from what everyone else does?
