Loved some of the photos. The site took a while to load. It might be good to lighten up some of the surrounding imagery to allow a faster transition thourhg the images. Ideally I'd like to click for the next image and have it there, bam, just lke that. The whole loading delay was a real turn off, and I have a great broadband connection. If it was anything less I wouldn't have viewed nearly as much as I did.

When you state that the pictures were "submitted," is the person submitting the picture the owner, or someone who liked the picture and recommended it for your archive?
You might want to include some sort of disclaimer about copyright and usage. If these pictures were submitted by the owners, you can include some sort of language about terms of usage. If these are only recommendations by a third party, you'll want to include a disclaimer that these images are not your property and that usage will be dependent upon contacting the copyright owner, not your service. You could get in trouble for providing these without attributing the source and/or not protecting the owners' right to copyright.
Great site (though loads a tad slow). Love the thumbs-up and thumbs-down graphics!

Needs forward and next button(s) - I could not easily locate them.
When I clicked on the picture itself, it seemed to just re-load the same page into a new browser window. That was unexpected.
