I am trying to sanitize a large text file sent to me. Basically I want to delete all line which are preceeded by two newlines or do not contain an @ (name and email address respectively).
A sample might look like this:
John A Smith
123 Street St
Anywhere, USA 64987
(547) 555-1212
jsmith@somedomain.com
Mentor: Lee Vining
Finish: July 2007
Amy Jones
321 Where St
There, USA 38471
ajones@thatdomain.com
Mentor: A Spencer

I'd like to end up with:
John A Smith<tab>jsmith@somedomain.com
Amy Jones<tab>ajones@thatdomain.com
