Webmaster Discussion Forum, Resources, Articles and Tutorials - webmastertalk.in

Please review my forums at http://www.webmastertalk.in in terms of skin, forums categories etc.

Description:
http://www.WebmasterTalk.in discussion forum is the fastest growing group of Webmasters from all over the world. You can discuss here topics related to web hosting, software, control panels, programming/scripting languages (ColdFusion, PHP, ASP etc), web designing, advertising, SEO, Google discussion etc. I have made it Search Engine Friendly ;)

It also features Webmaster Resource Directory (http://www.webmastertalk.in/local_links.php) and Webmaster Articles and Tutorials (http://www.webmastertalk.in/articles.php) section. Please have a look and do let me know your comments/views. I would like to invite you to add your website to Webmaster Resource Directory (http://www.webmastertalk.in/local_links.php). It takes less than a minute to add your website and it is 100% free. Also, we don't require any reciprocal link.

How are you able to defend your statement that you are the most active web delevelopment forum when you have merely a fraction of the post as this forum does? Heck, my post alone out numbers any section of that forum. How do you know you are the fastest growing one too?

The design itself is fine. The code could be done a lot better. One thing you could change is having your CSS defined externally. Not exactly search engine friendly when there is a table based layout being used. Granted we are talking about a vBulletin generated forum.

P.S. I picked one article at random to read. Here's what I found.

Text, text, text, and more text. Don't but <br />'s and <p> 's to let users catch their breath.

Um, what? How about proof reading, or getting a copy editor before stuff hits the net. The article itself wasn't all that well written as a whole either.

The same reason advertisers say they sell the most driven vehicle, the highest rated mutual fund, or the softest (and most durable) toilet paper.

I think the site is functionally fine. I would agree with spufi that grammar is very important, and reflects the professionalism (or lack thereof) of a website. But nothing really jumped out at me as being so terrible that I wouldn't visit. Having said that, if my banker used poor grammar I would switch banks.

I think it's a fine service for the community, and it looks like it is being used as such.
