No Left Clicks Question

I Was just wondering about the feature that causes the disabling of the left mouse button. is there a way to use the code so that only part of the website is protected from the left mouse button?
there is certain parts of the text on my page that the viewers need to access and there other parts of the text that i don't want them to access (and yes i know it's not a foolproof code).

I can see why you would think that i meant the right click, thats the one that most people want to disable, but what i was hoping to do is to disable the left click so that it would make it hard for people to highlight the poems on my site and copy them for their own. i'm able to disable the left mouse button but the problem is that when i do it's disabled for the whole page and the view can't even move the scroll bar or click on the link. i just need it disabled for part of the text on my site.
