I can access my apache webserver by typing in a browser, http://localhost or jason.socal.rr.com only on the comp running the webserver. How do make the webserver accessible so that other computers can access it?

Thanks in advance.

jason.social.rr.com will probably work else where. Otherwise you'll have to type in your IP address.

**NOTE. If you have a firewall, make sure the HTTP port (80) is not blocked.

How do I check to see if the port is blocked and if it is blocked, how do I fix it. Thanks'.

The first thing you need to do is check if you have a firewall at all. The rest is completely dependant on what kind it is. Note also that if you are running WinXP (or 2k might have this also) there is an "internet connection firewall" that may be enabled.
