Need some input please

hello again. just finished one of any number of potential designs for a local tech company called Microfixx. this is a redesign from www.microfixx.com. the new mockup is at http://www.johnnygolden.com/microfixx_home.jpg

the logo is not my creation and i dont really like it. it was not a vector but i may vectorize it and see if it looks a bit better. but im open to any input on design and layout. thanks
