When I click on an email link on a website a dialog box pops up telling me that the action canot be perform because my default email client is not installed properly. And then many boxes "Action cannot be performed" pop up.

FYI: There is no other problem with OE. Everything else works fine except for the above mentioned.

Thanks and have a nice day! :)

Why don't you try reinstalling your Email client?

How can I do that? OE came with my computer. And will I lose all my settings?

Thanks!

You made a suggestion earlier. Do you have an answer for me?

Already checked. No viruses, spyware. Everything's clean. Even defragged.

How do you re-install OE and not lose settings?

As the Fuzz asked earlier, what's the program set in IE?

Go to the Tools menu at the top, select Internet Options... , hit the Programs tab which is toward the top left, And where it says

Email:

What is there?

I did answer Fuzz earlier. It reads Outlook Express. :)

If you don't have the CDs to install OE, then you can't.
Maybe you could download OE from Microsoft.
