Hi,

Everybody finds Google Analytics a bit confuse. I'm looking for an alternative.

I know Awstats, Urich and webalizer. But is there any other alternative?

What's the best for you and what do you use?

Thank you.

All of the stats packages you'll find out there are all confusing!!!

Anything but user friendly...

WHY???

Well it comes down to a simple couple reasons why.
The stats are just the raw data of your visitors, when they came, when they left and what the server was able to tell about that users computer (OS, Browser and so on), not to mention referring sites <-the most important factor. Some of the better services do list the keywords used at the Search engine to get to your site.

It's up to you the site owner to use those numbers to your advantage or disadvantage.

Take this site... you know they have a huge stats package running behind this site. Well when your comparing this site to another those stats mean NOTHING compaired to the amount of "users online" at any given time. And it's the stat we have chosen to monitor more than the others. THis stat btw is from the forum software vs a stats program.

I hope this helps but if you were to list what your lookign for to make it easier that would be helpful... or if you need help reading your stats we can do that too.
