using iReport

hi all :)

i had a problem for a long time and i could not solve it.
i work on a project that is swing base, and I use iReport as reporting tool.
the problem is when i try to call the reprt from a a frame by clicking a button:
it works well when I run it in idea environment, but I've made jar file from the
whole project.when I try to run the jar file and
then calling the rport it encounters following error:
how should i address the jasper file?! or where should i put the .jasper files?

I have also tried not to use complete address for the .jasper file, but still it couldn't find the file

Im not familiar with the ireport technology you mentioned but it looks like its your IO code thats causing the exception does the file string include the complete address?

I would suggest specifiying it with a relative path: "../src/iReport/rptFact.jaspe"
or what ever corresponds to your specific situation.

Not sure if that wil be your fix though as i said im not familiar with what your doing.

actually when i use relative address, i get this error what this error means basiclly does it mean that net.sf.jasperreport ... not found
or rptFact.jasper is still not found?
