Run video in specific application

Hi everyone,

I am trying to find a way to run a video on a website in a specific external application.

When you embed the video into a webpage if often plays it in either quicktime or windows media player.

I want it to only run in windows media player and if possible i'm looking at a way to automatically launch windows media player from a webpage and then play the video.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?
