Arrange table content with tabs

I've seen this somewhere before, where there's a table and at the top there's tabs such as Title and Artist and Year. It looks like a database from Microsoft Access. And when you click on the tab it arranges by decending/ascending order. I'm trying to find the script for this.

Also, the script for when you hover above a link or piece of text, a picture comes up where the tooltip would be.

That would be some server-side scripting and some database interaction going on there.
