I've got a problem that maybe pretty basic to some of you, but its got me stuck. I've built a website and have the domain name already but I don't know how to go about setting up the FTP Site for the domain name so I can just put my files and finally get it up. I got the domain name through registerfly if that helps any. How do I go about setting this up? Any and all help will be appreciated. Thank you.

Do you have a host for the domain?

To be perfectly honest I'm not sure. We host a few other websites but those were set up before i came on, is there any way I can check where/what their host is? I'm sorry if all of this sounds dumb but I'm extremely green when it comes to this and I'm basicly OJTing the whole project. Thank you for helping.

If your company have setup other domains they are probably all hosted by the same company. There must be some paper work or emails?
If you have nothing then enter the domain name (whatever.com) in WHOIS lookup (http://www.whois.net/), see if any names there ring a bell.

There are probably the company hosting the domain. To get any information from them you need your customer number.

Login name and Password for the FTP and Control panel, and probably imformation on Mail, Frontpage and other stuff depending on the type of hosting.
If they are the host then it's all set up already; find the info and your up and running ;)
