I'm trying to build myself a personal site for all my projects I do and whatnot... I can do all the coding, thats not a problem for me. What my problem is is that I can't find any good image material for building the site out of. I'm no good at photoshop or flash. All of my sites are image only and luckly all my sites thus so far have been for games which had fansite kits. I can find plenty of sites wil free website kits but all the graphics look like they were built with paint in 1994... anyone know of a good source to get nice quality website image kits for like.. free or something?
I can't really spend any money on this since I'm only 14 and my family can't really afford to buy anything we dont need.

Hi Building a good page can be hard finding a good script that is free is almost impossible sometimes though there is a ray of sunshine.
As i understand it your good at the coding side of things right!
well if thats the case get mom or dad to visit my site www.worldtemplates.net you can buy 4 DVD's Crammed with high quality templates plus all the software you'll need (graphics,Fonts, banners, utilities etc etc.) for much less than you'll end up spending on just one site. Now heres the sales pitch.
Your young possibly talented as a coder why not get the DVD's and set up your own web design / site development business and make your money back tenfold you could be a millionaire by the time your 21 and running your own corporation anything is possible plus on the DVD's there are lots of E-Books that normally sell for between 10 bucks and 100 bucks that include re-sell rights so you could place them on a site straight away and start re-couping the outlay immediately. :)
anyway good luck
Dave

Try IStock Photo (http://www.istockphoto.com) Prices aren't too outrageous. Another good one, but one I believe is pretty expensive is GettyImages (http://creative.gettyimages.com/). Hope it helps.

For free graphics software, the GIMP (http://gimp.org) is almost certainly the best.
Hi -
Do you have a friend who's pretty good at graphics?
If you really won't bother to do them yourself, ask
someone else...what you find on the web won't be as
tailor-made as an actual human's who
knows the look you're going for.
CSS styles are a simple way to add backgrounds, borders,
change font colors, etc. You could try that if you just
want something simple.
Good luck,
El
