Recently i have noticed an increase in a new form of pop up that is even more annoying than the normal pop up or pop under, They call them flyin ads and they attach themselves to your cursor and your forced to click on them to be able to read the information on the site.
This form of forced clicking in my opinion should be outlawed as it can be very destructive to a sites reputation and repeat visitation i have also noticed that sometimes having clicked on the flyin ad to get rid of it i directed totally away from the site i was originally trying to view this is just plain piracy. how many others think the same way i wonder and is there an effective blocking agent out there normal pop-up blockers have no effect on these annoying pests.

well, if a/the site's owner decided to allow such ads, then he should suffer the consequences, i'd stop visiting this site and/or contact him to tell him why.

Such things are self regulating. If it annoys people then they wont visit the site. If it annoys enough people then someone will create a blocker for it. People wouldn't use such techniques if they weren't effective.

Looks like another reason to use Firefox: it rather conveniently waits for the annoying little sub-window to load, then moves it to the bottom of the page.

It also looks like another reason to turn off javascript on any browser. :(
