My songwriting partner and I; would like to be able to "stream" MP3 Music Files. And... we would also like guests to be able to "download" our songs to their systems. I have been told that all I need to do is put all my MP3 files into a folder (on our web site - via our host) and then provide "links" to each. This person said that when a visitor clicks on any link... they will automatically hear that particular song (streamed) to their computer.

This is how I deal with graphics, and his explaination sounds a bit to easy. Is it true?

And if so... what kind of setup do I need to impliment... to allow that same visitor to "download" the actual MP3 file?

Thanks

Actually, adding links to the audio will allow you to download the tracks, eg

<a href="music/mysong.mp3">Download my music!</a>

I'm afraid streaming is a little bit more complicated... someone else is probably more capable of helping with that!
