hi, i used Paint to create a image, inside the image, there's nothing but a box with text within it.

I try to display on html form using <img src="txt.bmp">
but the font inside the box looks extremely crappy. Feels like the font is trying to faded away.

Is there anything I can fix my image so the font can display in a better quility?

p.s: someone tried to tell me install software such as photoshop or fireworks, i haven't buy that idea yet because i'm no web designer, and i feel those softwares are overkilled. i believe there must be simple way to get such simple task done.

thank you

If the font you are using is a commonly used font, then I would reccommend not using images as text. There are many reasons, such as SEO, and grainy images, accessability and things like that.

Other than that, you may need to invest in a good imaging program such as photoshop or illustrator or paint shop pro. Some have 30 day free trial download. Or, if you are hardcore you can get http://www.gimp.org/ for free.
