Passwording with HTML

Yes I'm using GeoCities to create a guild website for a game I play. I'm wondering how I could do a user account setting, Like only I can create the user acounts and you can only go certain places unless you log on with the account. I would really appreciate some help. Thank you.

You need a server-side lanugage, like PHP or PERL, to do that. Unless you have a Geocities Pro account, you don't have that.

You would need to ask geocities that. But I'm sure there's a charge for it.

you can do it with javascript but its not safe at all. If security isnt big javascript can help.

Geocities (and other) free sites are not allowed to have any password protected areas. They want all pages to be accessible so that people can see the ads that are paying for the hosting.
