It looks nice, the only thing is the header image is dark and the page background is dark, I might suggest you lighten one of the two up to make your header image "pop" and stand out. Just my opinion.

yes, maybe have the background lighten up and / or add a pattern to it (a light one)
also, that might have been intentional, but if find the navigation bar should have a left margin as well (same as the banner or the space between the nav bar and the banner)

and don't forget to add a title

It's kind of spooky looking. Don't tell me I've reviewed another vampire site.

You need to add some metatags/metadata to your <head> section. So far, this is all you've got:
<title></title>. This isn't going to help you get very many hits in the search engine realm.

Hi Kimzor,

I like it. You have a decent sense of style and typography (which is highly important) — I like your choice of fonts. The colors match well, also. Good job.

One thing, though, is the links in the sidebar on the left. If I put my mouse over a list item (but not its text), the background highlights but clicking does not select the link. Why not make the entire area covered by the link, making clicking the link much easier? (From a usability standpoint, links that have extra space around them are much better than traditional inline links.) Other than that, I’d like to personally recommend the world’s greatest, most usable, helpful and configurable blogging system: Wordpress (http://www.wordpress.org/). Open-source, free, has plugins... what more could you possibly want? ;)
