Warmest welcome to the SQL forum!

By no mean is this a MySQL forum only, so feel free to ask any questions about any flavour of databases!

Also, don't post questions where databases are only slightly involved and the actual problem is about the server-side language that interacts with the dB.
This forum is more for questions about the actual query language, meaning, queries, structure, syntax, etc..

good posting!

I can help out with most MySQL questions. Can't say as much for any other db language though. I'm a PHP/MySQL dude. ;)

EVERYWHERE is my terrority <laugh type="evil"/>.

Yeah, I'll probably be around here, as well. The new MySQL 5 has caught my attention and so I've been doing a lot more database development lately. Though, honestly, I only really know MySQL and ANSI-SQL. For what it's worth.

Idea: Perhaps the first post in this thread should be stickatized and a note should be added advising people to post what SQL language they're having a problem with. Otherwise we might end up having half the threads in here with un-necessary posts asking which SQL language the questioner is referring to. Just an idea. ;)
