Hi,
I am trying to figure out how this works.
A page that has a background image (or whatever) and the page content is laid on top of the background. When you click on a link to navigate to another page on the site....the background remains there and the "container" with the page content changes. Does this make sense?
A few examples of this can be seen at the following sites:
http://www.foxnews.com
and
http://www.bobandtom.com

If you click on a link, the page changes but the background stays.

How is this done?

Thanks,
Mike

As far as I can tell, the background on those sites you linked is behaving normally and refreshing with each new page.

After you've clicked through one or two links, though, the browser holds the graphic in its cache so it loads faster, in some instances so fast that you're hardly able to tell it even left in the first place
