Hi,

Anyone that manages/edits/works on pages that use UTF-8 character sets, and especially Japanese, Chinese and Korean text knows that finding the right development tool can be very difficult. Currently we are using Dreamweaver and it, at least as deployed on our servers, is not meeting our needs. We are finding that it is slow, bloated and geared toward WYSIWYG developers too much.

Can anyone suggest another development tool that works with UTF-8 characters and allows for saving to a remote server (via some sort of ftp tie-in like Dreamweaver does)?

Thanks,
B
