I recently purchased a new computer

2 ghz
512k mem
XP os

I can't seem to run Java applications. Can anyone tell me where I can get this as download or for purchase?

Or is there some setting in my computer that isn't turned on?

I heard Microsoft stopped including the Java Virtual Machine in XP/IE 6. I think you can download it from their site. Don't have the download URL and lots of luck navigating Microsoft's maze.

lol. now khaki.. it's not that i don't like the products... it is just upsetting that they think just because they are in 'control' they can charge for every little thing.... plus the fact that there is ALOT of good programs out there that ISN'T microsoft and several of them are FREE!!!

question: have you tried linux?? the little penguin is SO cute!!!
