Ok, since this just came up in my life (30 minutes ago) will you relocate for a job if they pay you? Mind you it's (right outside of Camden, NJ, a suburb of Philly PA) not too far from where I'm at (Central Jersey) and they're going to give me relocation expenses (yippee!)
So, anyone's opinion on this?

Sure, come on down. Espcially if they'll pay for it.
Or, get your EZ-Pass and take the Turnpike to Exit 4 every day.
If you do move here, I'd recommend looking for a place in Burlington County rather than Camden County. If nothing else, it reduces your auto insurance premium. What town is the job in?

positions in mt. laurel. i was looking at burlington county, the fact that the train's easy to grab over there was a big plus.
You have any places to recommend exactly? I've looked around apartments.com but nothing really great. they're searching seems a little odd. any sites you'd recommend to look on?
How soon would you recommend leaving? It's not like i have to run out of my parent's house, they're recommending i wait atleast 30 days before moving. I suppose that works.
I have a really bad Bill Lumbergh feeling about the place though. heh.
Edit: now that i found a county listing, mt. laurel is in burlington county, and maple shade (a place i was looking at) is there as well. what do you think of the area?

Mt. Laurel is pretty pricey, housing-wise. Apartment-wise, you might want to check out the Maple Shade area. There are a couple of large apartment complexes there which look decent from the outside, at least, and are just a couple minutes from the NW part of Mt. Laurel. There's a lot of new construction out east of Moorestown along the Rte. 38 corridor. Personally, I'd avoid the Rte. 73 corridor south of Mt. Laurel, as the traffic on that stretch of 73 is horrible during rush hour.
The area I'm in - Cinnaminson, Palmyra, Riverton - might have some decent duplexes for rent, and there's a big apartment complex on 130 in Delran called "Tenby Chase" or something like that.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep those in mind. Do you know The Arbors in Maple Shade, it's a complex I believe. Decent place?

I don't know anything about the apartments, but it's in a really convenient location: close to an Acme and a BJ's, plus just a bit further to the Moorestown Mall complex, and walking distance to the Strawbridge Lake Park.
I've driven by it many times, and from the front at least it looks decent. Oh, and the Mr. Chibs place near it is a great place to pick up some Buffalo wings and cheese fries. :)

I don't really know much about Delran. I've known a couple people who lived in the Tenby Chase apt. complex there, and never heard them complain about it (other than the usual complaints of wanting to have their own house instead of living in an apartment :) ).
