Hi Everyone,
Haven't been here in a while and wanted to post a link to a site I've been tinkering with for some time.

I think its finally done and mostly validates - a few pages still need a tweek or two.

Please let me know what you think!

Here it is (http://host371.ipowerweb.com/~heglerar/)

Thanks,
Ian

NICE!
I'm a fan of Low Country art, anyway. It's nice to see a well-done site displaying some.

You might move over "show calendar" - the "s" is slightly touching a reed on my screen.

The rest looks really good. The only (minor) thing that bothered me were the ALL CAPS titles on the press room page.

Hey thanks! I love his art, I've got a large print of his in my entry way at home (The Island Palmetto).

The all Caps thing is his doing. I wrote an admin section so he could add the Press Room and Art Show stuff. He must have entered it in all caps for that entry.

But, over all you liked it? I'm really excited that its almost done. I've submitted it to him for final review and then he'll transfer his domain name over to it.

Yes, I like it very much. Actually, it would be a good design for the CSS Zen Garden, if you could get his permission to use the art.

wow! You think this is ZenGarden worthy!!??
I'm proud of it,but I never would have put it in that class!
Thanks!

WOW! I like it!

Only thing I would change is the length of the contact page - extend the text area so it's consistant with the other pages.

I've made some updates since I posted this. Bigger images mostly in the gallery section. A few changes to code (mostly PHP stuff). It still doesn't completely validate, but I'm not sure I am going to change it to pass.

Anyone care to rate it now?

Same for me -- info. about my settings in sig.
For instance, some of the navigation links on the hp are too close to the reeds. On the Biography page, the text "Will Hegler" is being obscured by the bank in the background. The other headings are OK.

I noticed, though, that the pages took a while to load -- not sure if it's a PHP/server problem or not. I'd click on a link, nothing would happen for a sec. then the page's elements would appear, not all at once.

I'd also move the "biography" link on the hp over to the right a bit. The text alignment doesn't match exactly the contour of the bank.

Good Luck!

Thanks everybody, I will have to look at that and see if the client wants it adjusted. I appreciate the (very) positive feedback. Its a nice ego boost to a novice like myself to get such good reviews.
