fetch data from table cell, disply it in a popup window then show the same in a text

Hello friends

I have designed a calender, my problem is as follows

I have to fetch the seleceted table cell data (ie, date) ie, when i click a date it should be displayed in the date format ie, dd/mm/yyyy in a popup menu, after closing the pop up menu the same date should be displayed in a text box situated out side the calender table/ may be in adifferent page.

Please help
