SORT Functionality

I have a form where in i am doing SORT when the user clicks on the Column name of a Table...I have a javascript which does that function, but in one of the links where in i am doing SORT on the Deal value's which are $amounts,here i am getting different results...I hereby attaching the html file where you can see the results of the 4th Column(Deal Value),

If any one knows how to do the proper sort function for this column please let me know

Thanks...If you have any code which does the sort feature, please let me know, because the code(file) which i attached before does not work properly for my application, as it hangs in the middle of "sorting" because all the data is coming from the backend, this is an JSP applicaton,

Let me know your thoughts about this...because i don't want the user to experience runtime hang when they do SORT
