How would i go about maing a DHTML menu by hand with semi-transparent links without downloading a program ?

Learn DHTML. :p Seriously, though, you should start with some free script from like http://dynaimcrdive.com/dynamicindex1 , and modify it and learn from it. That's how I learn most of the things I know. It really helps; and plus, if you have any questions or need help, we're always here. ;)

Well know i want to know how to create a semi-color color with css and make a sub menu like windows with the arrow in CSS or HTML

Hmmm.... Not exactly sure what you mean by that. Also, which menu did you choose?

i choose the one on there called HV menu but i used the program HVExplorer9 but it didn't work like i want so i look around and all the programs else where trailware which i did want so then i desided to do it in CSS and i got it to work but i can't make it call another menu like the programs like

where once you mouse the cursor over the link a submenu pop's up with links and i was wondering if you can do this with css or html

This will all have to be done with JavaScript -- DHTML. Take one part of the script at a time. We'll take it apart and put it together again--hopefully better. lol. You can attach the .zip file with all of the files in it so that I can see what you've got going; and we can work on it together that way. ;)
