My tutorial looks fine in Opera, Firefox, and Internet explorer. However, I get a large margin on the left when using Konqueror. It is, however, still usable. Should I be nervous about this?

I'd say "No" nobody probably even uses it, I have never heard of it, and many other people probably havn't either, so I wouldn't be too worried.

Konqueror is very popular on Linux and Unix and used with the KDE windowing system. I use it, sometimes, on FreeBSD. I'm surprised you have a problem since it works on all the others.

I believe Konqueror's rendering engine (KHTML?) is used in Safari, much like Gecko is used in Firefox.

KHTML is the name of the engine. Safari's WebCore engine is based on it. Omniweb, another browser for MacOS X, uses the WebCore engine too.

I use Knoppix (http://www.knoppix.net/) to test in Konqueror, since I have not been able to get KDE to run under Cygwin (http://www.google.com/search?q=cygwin).

Although Konqueror is a popular browser it's general percentage usage is really to small to warrant a site redesign

If your markup is valid and semantic, and the page is still usable without being confusing on Konqueror, then I probably would not lose any sleep over it.

I suggest you check to see if Safari is showing the same problem, since it has a much larger number of users.
