Hi Guys!
I revemped my site
http://djshawnmichaels.com/new_site
Does the first page look attractive or is everything aligned ok?
Let me know if theres anything I should to to make it look better.
Thanks
you need more of a consistant design colour scheme, and i wouldnt recomend using patterns like those for backgrounds, plain things dont go out of fashion and stay in longer. also you get your own poll and personalise it to your site of hot scripts for free. hotscripts.com

Hey guys,
From what I read here I need to use better alignment? Can you please tall me a little more on that topic so I can make it look better?
What do you mean by a "more of a consistant design colour scheme". I have the navigation set up for 1 color being hover, 1 being just there and 1 being for if you are on that page.
I will worry about the errors at the end, I just want the design to look great, then error time.
Thank you
WOW - this has come a long way!
Here are some random observations --
OK - the gallery of self photos is a little much. If you're using this as a professional site, those really need to be replaced with photos of people having a good time at your events.
The "Michael's Radio" button has a line through it onmouseover.
The resume page (content) needs some work. There are too many "Shawns" in the text:
"Shawn Michaels started DJing in April or 1998. Shawn has performed at events such as weddings, proms, birthday parties, Bar & Bat Mitzvah's and even nursing homes. Shawn is very knowledgeable when it comes to music history and choosing the right song to get a packed dance floor. Some of Shawn’s skills include technical and repair of equipment, beat mixing, outgoing, games and reliability. "
A traditional resume format might be better, with an "experience" heading listing your performance venues, and "technical skills" heading listing all the services you can provide.

Thanks KDLA.
How is the layout on the main page? Is it ok?
The vertical line you are referring to through Michaels Radio is because of the line on the body which I need to figure out how to make the line for just the main page.
Thanks
I like the layout. The color scheme is really funky. With the bars and colors, it reminds me of Mondrian (http://www.artmuseums.harvard.edu/mondrian/).

You've done a great job on it, Shawn. Seeing someone come through here, work hard at learning a lot of new concepts and then turn around and apply them so well is quite enjoyable.
