Javascript w/ Cookie freezes IE!

I hacked togather a javascript/cookie personal link saver that runs on the homepage of one of my websites.

I had it working, but have not tried it for several weeks. I just tried to use it and every time I try to load the page after saving a link IE hangs and crashes. I tried this on two different computers running dif versions of Windows (ME,XP) and IE (5.5,6.0).

It is supposed to list links when a user returns to the page, and it DID work when I wrote it, but now...

Will someone take a look at it because I am a little confused!

Hmmm... I am reading through the javascript and I guess that gives me a good idea of what I should be looking for... but I am just not seeing it! Grrrr....

Well, the problem is that I used someone else'e code and modified it to work... so I am really not very experienced as far as writing javascript.

Do you see anything in my javascript that would be causing this error to occur?
