Ok think big! I am talking huge!

I have been doing sites here and there for several years that have been very small and plain Jane. I am currently involved in a venture that would require something on the scale of Myspace.com. Yet I have no idea how to develop something that immense. What is the backbone of something like that? I need something that people can create a profile and store industry specific information. This is something that will be used daily and require tons of bandwidth.

So if you have any experience with this sort of site...I would love to learn!!!

Thanks

Yea, Cold Fusion is limited in many aspects - one of those being the heafty prices;
As PHP is opensource or in other words FREE! However CF does generally have better Database syntax, also has a much better Error and Search Handling features. With that said, PHP is more flexible and structured then that of CF, and lastly you'll always find a larger support base for the likes of PHP; Generally making it an easier language to learn

Thanks for the comments! It looks like we are going to go with Cold Fusion...apperently we already have CF Server (wasn't aware of this at the time).
