Is there a script to make images fade and change without mouse over?

Is there a script that can make an image change to a different image by fading without having to use a mouse over?

Like something to make it look like a flash animation by having it keep changing, but it be purely HTML

You need to look at some javascripts then, can't be done with HTML only, or else i think Flash would be the best choice...
