I know their home page needs work, but they also want to be able to place promotionals on their home page, so I can't turn the home page into a graphic or anything. Any suggestions? I just finished re-building this site for them: http://www.glenbridgepublishing.com.

pink hurts my eyes. I think you can use some other, more attractive colors. and the logo could use some serious modification. the site looks old, design for the now, not 6 years ago! also, don't forget to validate (http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.glenbridgepublishing.com%2F)

Yeah, it does look a little out-dated. Looking at another site you made (http://www.wordsaremyworld.com/), I see some resemblance.

It definitely has a "homemade" look to it. The animated GIF and Microsoft clip art doesn't really contribute to the design, either.

You might "Google" some publishing sites and get some ideas. The older the design of your website, the more out-of-date people will think the merchandise is. It's important to have a snazzy and appealing design.

Good Luck -
