I am brand new to making a Web page. iIam doing a family tree to put on my page. I am having trouble importing my tree. When I view it before importing, it is perfect, just what I want, but when it's transferred, it is like it's word wrapped and everything runs together. What am I doing wrong? Remember, I'm just learning so please use English, not computerese.
Thanks for any help. Jessie

What format are you importing from - is it fixed-width text? If so, you might get the right result by putting it in <pre> tags. What program are you creating the webpage in?

I tried to send an attachment of what I'm working with. It's in Adobe and has a PDF extension but your system wouldn't accept it.
I don't understand what you are asking me. I've written to my son for an explanation of what you mean. When I hear from him, I'll know better what you want. I just learned how to put in the HTML tags by trial and error.

Here is a list of the types of files that can be uploaded:
.gif
.jpg or .jpeg
.png
.bmp
.txt
.zip
If you want to upload a PDF, first include it in a .zip file.
Also, I'm assuming you meant to reply to this thread rather than start a new one, so I merged the threads...

Here is what I'm trying to add to my tree. It's exactly the form I want.
But how do I get it into my project?

You can either extract the text from the PDF and insert it into a HTML document in <pre> tags, or (the easier solution) just link from the previous page to the PDF file.
