I've been having occasional trouble the last couple of days with my Back button being disabled in some threads. I'm guessing it has to do with some new ad, but I haven't noticed which one. A double click of the back button works, and I always think to check for ads once I'm gone.

No code on a site can alter the behaviour of one of the browsers functions. Maybe it's a buggy browser install, try re-installing.

It could be that the page is running Javascript that reloads an iframe and so the back button takes the iframe back tio its prior page first.

Logical, but if that were the case, wouldn't we all experience it?

It's been a rare occurance, 3 or 4 times yesterday and only once today, but I think it happened on 2 different computers. Of course, it hasn't happened since my first post about it. Also, it only happened in ie.

Just did it again. This time there was a partial ad in the upper right corner with the macromedia guy. Only a small piece of the ad was there. Just an idea, but I'm currently running on a small monitor set at 600x800. That ad was cut off on the right with the need to scroll over. It looked less than 100px tall though.
