adding free web search from google in my site it said tht is is encoded with utf-8. but in dreamwaver i saw tht my site was encoded windows[latin]. are the same or sud i change utf8 to window[latin] or vice versa.

Google says Note: If your page is not encoded as UTF-8, you should change the value of both fields to match your page's encoding.

so which one is better changing my site to utf-8 or google's script to windows[latin]

Being unicode I would use UTF-8 over windows[latin]
