vertical scroll bar

By default the vertical scrollbar it self, is positioned at the top of the scroll field,
I have a page that new info comes in at the bottom of the page, and a java script refreshes the page som that new info comes on the page, but as the file/page gets more text than the page shows, I don't se the new info, so i need the scrollbar to be posisioned at the bottom of the vertical scrollfield.

and where shall i put it in my html page,
have not uset any php. just plain html

I think you're talking about the thumb of the scroll bar, right? And you want a text area to act like a scrolling terminal, right?

need the field in the middle to be scrolled to the bottom.
as u se i run an java script that refreshes the page every 60 sek. so that nes data that comes in to the text.txt file . The page uses frames. the main frame is just linked to an txt file, it is not an htm page.
