Pick your favorite 'intro' page

Hi everyone.

I am very new to web design (I have a application coding background). My boss asked me to create 3 layouts for the new site we're developing. She can't decide which one she likes, I can't decide which one I like....please help.

The pages are:

I know they're slow to load, I'll fix that later, once a page is chosen. I also know some of the images are blurry, I'm waiting for the photographer to provide hi-res images so I can fix 'em up.

Let me know which one is your favorite :) if you hate them all, why, if you love them all, why?? :) Thanks again, I've been lurking around here for ages finally I'm posting ;)

#1 - it seems more compact. On a high res. screen, the others sort of fall apart.

Yes, you're so right. I think I can make the other 2 more larger res. friendly with some more code so it doesn't spread out into 3 obvious columns...Thank YOU for the input.
