streaming- alone or via special service?

I have my own new server and i want to stream voice lesson. i indecision on jow to make it, should i go on self streaming (i don't know how to start) or using a special streaming hosting.

can anybody advise me?

what do you mean? Do you mean save your music or voice as a wav or mp3 and have it stream? Its quite easy all you have to do it embed a player. http://htmlgoodies.com/tutors/embed.html

well, i went to tat link.
no. what i ment was to send the file to my server and then to create a link that start the voice file (open the media player and play it "alive") and gives the clinet the option to continue surfing. some thing like radio station, but with the filr on the server...

It is possible to stream files on a very basic level without specialised (and expensive) kit, but really a specialized server is required.
