Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : [RESOLVED] Temporary File & Memory "Flusing"!

Here’s my problem: I edit and upload a web page, the edit was very small, say for example correcting a misspelled word. Next I clean out my two browsers (Opera & IE), using their standard procedures, which I’ve used for years. Then I call-up my web site, I don’t see my revised upload.

I look at View > Source, and it’s like the upload never occurred, I go to the server side and look at the source code and yup, the upload I made got there. So, next I clean-out the browsers 10 to 12 times, wait a day or so and still no change.

I get on another machine and it displays my edit correctly!

So, here’s my question; how do I successfully “Flush” my computer’s memory and temporary files once and for all?

Any suggestions?

A premature thanks for your time and effort in reading my posting and perhaps providing a solution.

Did you help? - Most certainly, because I’ve never used a Ctrl+Shift with “Refresh” before, just the “Refresh”, after clearing/cleaning the cach memory.

But, for some stupid reason, the aforementioned worked on some pages within my site that I was having problems with viewing my previous edits, but it didn’t work with my PopUps on those pages. CRAZY

Now, my Opera and IE6 has decided to update themselves finally, but it took about 4 more days for the PopUps!

Thanks Again & Take Care

You're welcome. WIth popups, if they dont have the refresh button and the normal toolbar, you can use the F5 button on your keyboard along with the CTRL+SHIFT

hope this helps
