Create horizoontal Flash menu

Will anyone help me or point to a tutorial that shows me how to create a horizontal Flash menu? I have tried with Dreamweaver's Flash Text but I'm having difficulty showing and hiding the submenu once the mouse has moved to different menu tab.

Please help!

Thanks, havik! Your links are very helpful. I have found plenty of small programs that will do all the things I want for $20 or so but I like to create it myself and want to know how.

I think you probably want to put a 'mouseout' action to take you back to the main frame
