Opensource Intranet Packages

Hey,
Do any of you know of any really good open source intranet software packages (PHP/MySQL). Something that just allows users to send memos/announcements (with a recurring feature), upload files, address book etc that actually looks semi attractive? I've found a couple from sourceforge but they are soo ugly and the reason I'm looking for one is the client is cheap and all I want to do is grab something and add their logo to it, otherwise I'm going to have to make one and its just not worth it.

Ooh, that's a tough one. I would think it would be easier to find a desktop collaboration program to do that.

You could use a combination of a mailing list program (e.g. majordomo) and a client-side FTP program, if you have access to the computers that will use the system.

As for a server-side thing, maybe you could use a CMS? Otherwise, I can't think of any quick hacks to get what you want.

Just use one of the ones that you found on Sourceforge, then if they complain that it looks ugly, charge them for you to skin it.
