You could do it manually, though personally I'd use ccleaner (www.ccleaner.com/)

browser? as in aol msn etc sorry im not very technical

browser as in internet explorer, mozilla, netscape, etc. If you using using AOL or MSN to browse just tell us that because MSN is pretty much internet explorer opening through a fancy window and aol is pretty much a light weight mozilla opening through a fancy window.

oh im using msn i was sucessfull on deleting typed and visted url on IE but it didnt delete it on msn am i missing something?
